Our new album continues to progress. James wrapped up recording acoustic guitars in early January. Thus, all the electric, acoustic, and bass guitars are completed for the album. We are now on the final stage of keyboard orchestra revisions before we hand things off to Matt Motto of Formless Audio for mixing and mastering! We look forward to sharing this all with you!
Dear friends! The time has come, at last, to announce the new chanteuse for Shield of Wings. It's been a decidedly exciting several months working with her. We have harmoniously blended her smoky timbre and raw power into voicing this upcoming album. Without further ado, please welcome Lara Mordian to the family and into the fold!
As of this writing, she has completed all her vocal recordings for our upcoming album!
What does it mean? Maybe you have seen our curious short films on YouTube, or been following our recent revival of life on social media. We in the SOW camp are excited to share with you that our next creation is well underway: a 10-track, full-length album, scheduled to release in the first half of 2021! All songs have been fully composed for a long while, but this week marks the completion of all vocal demos with our new, as yet unrevealed, lead vocalist. Join us as we venture on to the final steps of bringing this album to fruition!
